I am often unsure whether a document with a specific title already exists or not. I perform thus a search. When I don't find the document, I create a new one.
Currently, this means that I have to close the search, create a new document, rename the new document. These are three steps. I would like to to reduce them to just one: create a document. This is already possible in Obsidian, Roam, RemNote and elsewhere. See Obsidian's solution:
Describe the optimal solution
There would be probably 2 ways how to create a new document, either by providing a button to click ("create a new document") or using Ctrl + N. In both interactions, the search window would be closed and a new document would be created with the searched string as its title.
Describe the candidate solution
Ctrl+N works in the search field, it closes the search and creates a new document with the default title.
