In what scenarios do you need this feature?
I am very happy that I can create new documents from the search field.
Unfortunately, this option is not always available if there are already documents with the matching string even though they are called differently:
In these cases, I am not able to create a new document.
Obsidian's solution is to use shift + enter
to create a new document from the search in any circumstance:
Roam shows this option any time there is no document with the exact same title as the search:
