In what scenarios do you need this feature?

I find the current attributes menu rather confusing and a little it scary.

If you look at this, field are very long and it is not obvious what does what. Like how Bookmarking works (without looking into the guide), what does the "name do" or how aliases are working?

I suggest adding some ❔ help icons with short explanations as a tooltip and a link to a guide.
