C2 Object Storage uses base 2 in billing calculations.

For example, we calculate 1 TB as 1,024 GB or 1,048,576 MB (instead of 1,000 GB or 1,000,000 MB).

The minimum unit of data on C2 Object Storage is 128 KB. Any object smaller than 128 KB is still calculated and billed as 128 KB.

The Free Plan provides you with 15 GB storage capacity. (What happens when the capacity is used up?)

The Free Plan comes with 15 GB of download traffic quota per month. When the quota is used up, your download traffic will be restricted until next month.

C2 Object Storage does not charge any fees for API calls under fair usage. When violating fair usage, API calls may be temporarily blocked.

C2 Object Storage does not charge any fees for upload traffic under fair usage. However, if your upload traffic violates fair usage, the upload traffic speed will be reduced until the next billing month.

In order that you can retrieve your data without additional costs, a paid plan comes with the basic download traffic of the same size as your plan's capacity per month. After using up the basic traffic quota, you will be charged for each extra GB at the rate applicable to the data center of your subscription. The extra traffic fee is billed at the next billing cycle.

With a paid plan, you can set the maximum limit of download traffic to avoid unexpected usage and fees.

1. On the left panel of your C2 Object Storage web portal, click Manage subscription.
   
2. Under the Download Traffic section, click Set Extra Traffic to customize your settings.
   
3. If your current usage does not exceed the new maximum limit, your change will take effect immediately. Otherwise, your change will take effect on your next billing cycle.

When your subscription plan of C2 Object Storage expires with automatic renewal deactivated, you will have a 30-day grace period to renew your subscription or retrieve your data. If you do not renew your subscription plan, some functions are suspended during different phases of the grace period (as detailed in the table below).

Once you use up the capacity, uploads will be suspended. You can choose to upgrade your subscription plan for more capacity, or delete other data stored in your C2 Object Storage.

The increased capacity will be effective immediately after you upgrade your subscription plan.
