Simply apply for a JetBrains Student Pack, which includes free JetBrains IDE licenses for students, as well as extensions, plugins, and free in-IDE courses. These resources help you get the most out of professional tools while learning computer science.
To renew your free access to the JetBrains Student Pack – including JetBrains IDE licenses, extensions, plugins, and project-based courses – you need to confirm that you are a full-time student in an accredited educational program. Simply log in to your JetBrains Account, where you’ll find a renewal link. You can also use the link provided in the automatic email reminder we send out two weeks before your subscription expires.
JetBrains IDE licenses for students are strictly for non-commercial educational purposes, including academic research. If you're employed at a company, you may want to ask your employer to purchase a commercial license. If you're doing freelance work, you can buy an individual subscription for commercial projects (available as a monthly or annual plan).
Yes! Just like a regular individual subscription, the JetBrains Student Pack allows you to use your free JetBrains IDE license on multiple devices.
Yes! If your email address isn’t accepted, submit your institution's email domain to the SWOT repository, which JetBrains uses to verify eligibility for free student and faculty licenses, and your email address should then be accepted.
Only students enrolled in accredited educational institutions with long-term programs (longer than one year) are eligible. If you’re taking a short-term course, encourage your instructor to explore JetBrains' licensing options for boot camps and training companies. Yes! JetBrains offers a 40% graduation discount as a congratulatory gift. You can use it to purchase a one-year personal subscription for any individual JetBrains product or the All Products Pack. This discount is available within two years of your Student Pack’s expiration. Simply log in to your JetBrains Account to make a purchase, and the discount will be applied automatically.
Please note that this offer cannot be combined with a JetBrains Student Pack renewal. If you renew your free student license for an additional year, the graduation discount will become available the following year.
